- PreSchool teachers are group leader qualified in keeping with the Colorado Department of Human Services regulations.
- Elementary and Middle School teachers are certified by the State of Colorado and many hold Masters degrees.
- Many staff are specialized in the following fields: computer science, art, physical education, music, media, reading and educational therapy.
- All staff are encouraged to pursue continuing education.
- Every PreSchool and Elementary classroom has a part-time teaching assistant.
Originally from Arizona, Eryn has lived in Colorado with her husband and two sons since 2009. Her oldest son just graduated high school and is now attending CSU. Her youngest is currently at Valor Christian. The Armbrust family enjoys watching sports and playing in the mountains.
Erin began teaching in our PreSchool in 2009. She has taught 2's, 3's, Enrichment and this is her first year in Prekindergarten. Prior to that, she taught at a public school in Arizona for two years.

Sean is originally from Southern California. He attended Sterling College in Kansas before moving to Littleton, Colorado several years ago.
He has a wonderful wife, Allie and daughter, Hannah. He loves running, exercising and most importantly watching the Los Angeles Dodgers!
Sean has been teaching for over 8 years and is greatly enjoying his time at Cherry Hills Christian. As of December 2017, he will have completed his Masters in Technology. Sean has an amazing ability to integrate technology into instruction in a meaningful and collaborative way.

Before teaching at Cherry Hills Christian School, Gary worked in real estate brokerage and development here in the Denver area for several years. After that, he returned to school for his second degree and teaching certification. Gary has taught math and Bible at Cherry Hills for 18 years and was one of the two original teachers in the middle school with Evan Dalrymple. Gary and his wife Pranadda have four children who have all attended Cherry Hills Christian. Their home church is Highline Community Church, but don't let that discourage you from visiting or attending. Gary received his BS in Business Finance from Arizona State University, BA in History from Metropolitan State University, and Teaching Certification from Metropolitan State University.
Jody grew up in Loveland, CO and now lives in Highlands Ranch. She has been married to her husband Dave since 1995 and has two teen-age sons, Bennett and Christian. They both attend Mountain Vista High School. As a family, they enjoy skiing and golfing together and also love to spend time walking and talking with friends.
Jody has been a teacher’s assistant in Sandy Hunt’s toddler classroom since 2015.

Karen was born in Grand Island, Nebraska but has lived in Denver since she was 4 years old. She is married and has 2 sons; the oldest lives in Charlottesville, VA. The other son lives in the metro area. She has 4 grandchildren, all of whom live in VA. Karen really enjoys walking, hiking and gardening. Her and her husband hope to travel once they are both retired. She has worked at Cherry Hills since 1995, and has worked with all different age groups.

Tammie was born in Alaska, but raised in the Highlands Ranch and Ken Caryl areas. She has been married to Richard since 2009. They have no children, but love their dog and cat. In her spare time, Tammie enjoys reading and watching movies. In the past couple of years, she has developed a passion for essential oils. She loves learning how the plants that God gave us can help our physical, mental, and emotional well being.
Tammie received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Reading & Writing as well as an endorsement for Reading Specialist. She taught 1st and 3rd grades in Jefferson County before coming to Cherry Hills, where she has also taught 1st and 3rd grades.Jeremiah 29:11

Michele was born and raised in Michigan. She lived in several states in the last 20 years, but is happy to call Colorado home since 2008. Michele and her husband Jeff have four beautiful children, all of whom have attended or are currently attending Cherry Hills Christian. Sadly, Jeff passed away in September 2016 in a bike accident. Michele and the children miss him so, but their faith has not been shaken. The family enjoys traveling to Michigan twice a year to visit family, biking in Colorado, and studying God’s word through Bible Study Fellowship.
Michele graduated with an Elementary Education degree from Calvin College. Once her kids were in school full time, she substitute taught in grades preschool through middle school. This is now her third year as a preschool teacher at Cherry Hills Christian PreSchool. She loves the relationships she has built both with students as well as parents.

Bill earned a BSBA at Washington University in St. Louis and then entered the field of insurance underwriting. Five years later he realized teaching was God's call on his life. Bill spent nine years in missions, primarily teaching English and helping to lead cross-cultural training schools before entering K-8 education. He received a master's degree in curriculum and instruction at the University of Denver and has been teaching 5th and 6th grades since 2006. He loves teaching science because of the innumerable ways it points to our ingenious Creator. Bill and his wife Jodi live in Littleton with their daughter and two sons.
After graduating from Harding University with a bachelors in Childhood Development Mrs. Callahan moved to New York City to serve at-risk youth for a ministry called Shiloh. During the school year, she taught Kindergarten for 8 years at The Buckley School, a private school for boys. Eventually receiving a Masters in Special Education with an emphasis in Visual Impairments from Teachers College at Columbia University, she served in a public school in the Bronx for four years teaching in a self-contained K-2 class for students who were blind/visually impaired. In 2013 Mrs. Callahan and her husband moved to Colorado and had Lincoln and Autumn. In her free time, she loves to bake and enjoys spending time with her family.
Kathy hails from Michigan, has a masters degree in learning disabilities and is highly qualified in Social Studies and Language Arts. She loves the opportunities Cherry Hills Christian provides to serve others in the community and on missions trips, and finds great joy in working with the middle school students and staff. She loves serving Christ by serving others through her teaching and ministry work in the U.S. and abroad. In her free time she enjoys gardening, reading, travel, watching sports, and outdoor activities with her family.

Cheryl Carmichael received her BA in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska. This is her ninth year teaching reading at Cherry Hills Christian and she loves to watch each of her students burst forth in reading.
Wendy is a Denver, Colorado native, having lived here all her life except when her husband's job moved the family to Chicago for two and a half years. She has been married to her husband since 1979. They have two sons, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson. Wendy loves to read, work in her yard and garden, travel, and camp and hike with family. She also love baseball and football (in that order!) – go Rockies and Broncos!
Wendy started out teaching preschool and then, after her boys grew up, she back to school and received her Bachelor's degree in education from Metropolitan State University of Denver and then her Master's degree in Education from Regis University. She has taught at Cherry Hills Christian Middle School since the fall of 1999.

Yumiko Clark attended the University of Northern Colorado where she received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics for Secondary Education. She completed her course work at Colorado Christian University for her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction in 2007. She started her teaching career in the Cherry Creek School District before getting the opportunity to teach abroad in Luxembourg and Paris. After teaching and traveling abroad for three years, she moved back to the great state of Colorado to be closer to family and the slopes.
Gisele Christian Conn is an Artist and Teacher. She began teaching at CHCMS in 1999 and holds a B.A. in Art, Spanish and Letters from the Metropolitan State University of Denver, an A.A. in Graphic Art & Design from the University of Puerto Rico, and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Colorado Christian University in 2014. Additional post-grad courses in Art, Spanish and History were completed in: Barcelona, Spain; Cuernavaca, Mexico; Samara, Costa Rica and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Gisele is living her dream - sharing what she loves and teaching what God has so generously granted her the privilege to learn - in a school where He is exalted daily.
Tracy was born in Columbia, Missouri but grew up in Wheat Ridge, Colorado from third grade on, so she considers herself a Colorado native. She has been married to her husband James since 1990 and they ahve two boys, Tyler and Sterling. She loves to have tea parties at her home with just the girls and shopping for antiques. She enjoys spending time with her family in Grand Lake and vacationing in Hawaii.
Tracy has been a Teacher Assistant at Cherry Hills Preschool since 2015. Prior to that, she was a stay at home mom for 13 years and then decided that she wanted to work at CHC. Having both her boys at the school, she experienced the amazing staff and parents and knew she wanted to be a part of that environment. Tracy wanted to give back by pouring God’s love into kid’s lives, just as the teachers had done for her children.

Cindy graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Elementary Education in 1979. She taught fourth grade in Olathe, Kansas the next two years before participating in a year round discipleship training program in Branson, MO. Cindy and her husband Will, started Kansas City K-life in 1982. They moved to Denver in 1984. She taught Fourth grade the first two years Cherry Hills Christian was opened. Will and Cindy moved to Branson Missouri in 1989. They directed two Kanakuk Kamps till 2010. Moving back to Denver, Cindy returned to CHCS as a TA in the spring of 2014. Cindy has been married to Will Cunningham for more than 30 years and they have two sons. Wes is an Internal Medicine resident in Arkansas and Peter is the Assistant Director of the Zoe Youth Ministry in St. Louis.
Cindy and her husband Will enjoy hiking, biking, exploring mountain towns, reading, and cooking together.
