In September of 1985, just over 90 students arrived for their first day at Cherry Hills Christian. There was one classroom each of Kindergarten, First and Second grade. Third and Fourth were combined into one class, as were Fifth and Sixth grades.
CHC’s first Principal, Susie Miller (pictured right with a group of CHC’s first students), helped bring to fruition Cherry Hills Community Church’s dream of a Christian school.
I was on the teaching staff in those early days and what a blessing it is to see how far the Lord has brought us. Today, we have three classrooms of each grade, Kindergarten through Grade 5, just over 380 students.
God is alive in our school and our students learn about Him and the world He created every day.
We hope you experience the same joy that we do when you walk through our hallways.
Welcome to Cherry Hills Christian Elementary School!
Grace and Peace,
