Meet Our Staff
Sean is originally from Southern California. He attended Sterling College in Kansas before moving to Littleton, Colorado several years ago.
He has a wonderful wife, Allie and daughter, Hannah. He loves running, exercising and most importantly watching the Los Angeles Dodgers!
Sean has been teaching for over 8 years and is greatly enjoying his time at Cherry Hills Christian. As of December 2017, he will have completed his Masters in Technology. Sean has an amazing ability to integrate technology into instruction in a meaningful and collaborative way.

Tammie was born in Alaska, but raised in the Highlands Ranch and Ken Caryl areas. She has been married to Richard since 2009. They have no children, but love their dog and cat. In her spare time, Tammie enjoys reading and watching movies. In the past couple of years, she has developed a passion for essential oils. She loves learning how the plants that God gave us can help our physical, mental, and emotional well being.
Tammie received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Reading & Writing as well as an endorsement for Reading Specialist. She taught 1st and 3rd grades in Jefferson County before coming to Cherry Hills, where she has also taught 1st and 3rd grades.Jeremiah 29:11

After graduating from Harding University with a bachelors in Childhood Development Mrs. Callahan moved to New York City to serve at-risk youth for a ministry called Shiloh. During the school year, she taught Kindergarten for 8 years at The Buckley School, a private school for boys. Eventually receiving a Masters in Special Education with an emphasis in Visual Impairments from Teachers College at Columbia University, she served in a public school in the Bronx for four years teaching in a self-contained K-2 class for students who were blind/visually impaired. In 2013 Mrs. Callahan and her husband moved to Colorado and had Lincoln and Autumn. In her free time, she loves to bake and enjoys spending time with her family.
Cindy graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Elementary Education in 1979. She taught fourth grade in Olathe, Kansas the next two years before participating in a year round discipleship training program in Branson, MO. Cindy and her husband Will, started Kansas City K-life in 1982. They moved to Denver in 1984. She taught Fourth grade the first two years Cherry Hills Christian was opened. Will and Cindy moved to Branson Missouri in 1989. They directed two Kanakuk Kamps till 2010. Moving back to Denver, Cindy returned to CHCS as a TA in the spring of 2014. Cindy has been married to Will Cunningham for more than 30 years and they have two sons. Wes is an Internal Medicine resident in Arkansas and Peter is the Assistant Director of the Zoe Youth Ministry in St. Louis.
Cindy and her husband Will enjoy hiking, biking, exploring mountain towns, reading, and cooking together.
Ms. Deters has been teaching at Cherry Hills since 2010 and feels so blessed to work with such wonderful teachers and friends. She attended Seattle Pacific University in Washington state where she received her B.S. in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Language Arts. Just recently she completed her Masters of Education program through Walden University. She is a native of Colorado and enjoys being in the mountains camping, fishing and kayaking.
Kelley Geary was born in Minnesota and lived there until 1999 when she and her family moved to Colorado. She graduated with a BA in Elementary Education K-6 from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN.
Kelley and her husband have four children and five grandchildren.
She is passionate about Biblical integration and seeing kids grow in their faith and love for Jesus.Mrs. Geary has taught in both public and private schools in Minnesota and Colorado with experience in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 3rd Grade and currently 2rd Grade.

Sheá Goodwin is a wife, a mother of 3 boys, a teacher, a swimmer, avid reader, and most importantly a lover of Jesus! She has her Masters in Education from Azusa Pacific University. She has taught 2nd grade since 2009, here at CHCC since 2010!! She loves living in Colorado because it is the best example of God's artistry. Her favorite verse is actually the book of Psalms. In Colossians 3, God tells us to sing psalms, hymns, and praises to God with a thankful heart. She loves the Psalms because so much of it is praise songs she grew up with and now gets to teach to her own children and students.
Shannon Havekost is our Technology Integration Specialist in our Elementary School, as well as our Marketing Manager. She has been serving with us since 2014. Shannon was born and raised in Denver, CO. She attended high school at Denver Lutheran. She went on to study Communications and Public Relations at the University of Colorado at Denver. After four years in the marketing field, she returned to UCD to complete her teaching license in 2008. Shannon has also served as a 3rd and 5th grade classroom teacher. Most recently she joined our Marketing team at Cherry Hills Christian. She can be seen at our marketing events and in the STEAM Lab.
Shannon is the proud mother of two boys, Aaron and Reid. They spend a great deal of their free time at their family cabin in Bailey, CO riding 4-wheelers and paddle boats. She looks forward to teaching technology and working in Marketing for several years to come!
