Because of the Administration’s encouragement and support of the Arts at Cherry Hills Christian Middle School, students experience at least one quarter of Music and Drama per year. CHCMS also offers a number of related electives in Drama and Music as well as three different Art classes from which students choose to round out their full schedules and explore their God-‐given talents.
Drama and Theater Arts
Life is filled with drama…drama reflects life! It is the focus of all the theater arts classes to provide many participatory drama experiences. Throughout the middle school theatrical experiences, students actively participate in dramatic activities to help them discover their own skills and appreciate the acting of others, both amateurs and professionals.
Drama Class-One Quarter of Each Grade Level for All Students

Our CHCMS Art Program is designed to develop creativity and provide artistic knowledge, guidance and support to each student. Learning to see the world with which God has blessed us as an inspiration gives our students new options of expression and problem solving skills. Three different classes are offered each semester, giving all students an opportunity to participate. All Art classes are taught by a Teacher/Artist, which adds to the student experience by providing insight into the real world of art.
