Meet Our Staff
Originally from Arizona, Eryn has lived in Colorado with her husband and two sons since 2009. Her oldest son just graduated high school and is now attending CSU. Her youngest is currently at Valor Christian. The Armbrust family enjoys watching sports and playing in the mountains.
Erin began teaching in our PreSchool in 2009. She has taught 2's, 3's, Enrichment and this is her first year in Prekindergarten. Prior to that, she taught at a public school in Arizona for two years.

Jody grew up in Loveland, CO and now lives in Highlands Ranch. She has been married to her husband Dave since 1995 and has two teen-age sons, Bennett and Christian. They both attend Mountain Vista High School. As a family, they enjoy skiing and golfing together and also love to spend time walking and talking with friends.
Jody has been a teacher’s assistant in Sandy Hunt’s toddler classroom since 2015.

Karen was born in Grand Island, Nebraska but has lived in Denver since she was 4 years old. She is married and has 2 sons; the oldest lives in Charlottesville, VA. The other son lives in the metro area. She has 4 grandchildren, all of whom live in VA. Karen really enjoys walking, hiking and gardening. Her and her husband hope to travel once they are both retired. She has worked at Cherry Hills since 1995, and has worked with all different age groups.

Michele was born and raised in Michigan. She lived in several states in the last 20 years, but is happy to call Colorado home since 2008. Michele and her husband Jeff have four beautiful children, all of whom have attended or are currently attending Cherry Hills Christian. Sadly, Jeff passed away in September 2016 in a bike accident. Michele and the children miss him so, but their faith has not been shaken. The family enjoys traveling to Michigan twice a year to visit family, biking in Colorado, and studying God’s word through Bible Study Fellowship.
Michele graduated with an Elementary Education degree from Calvin College. Once her kids were in school full time, she substitute taught in grades preschool through middle school. This is now her third year as a preschool teacher at Cherry Hills Christian PreSchool. She loves the relationships she has built both with students as well as parents.

Tracy was born in Columbia, Missouri but grew up in Wheat Ridge, Colorado from third grade on, so she considers herself a Colorado native. She has been married to her husband James since 1990 and they ahve two boys, Tyler and Sterling. She loves to have tea parties at her home with just the girls and shopping for antiques. She enjoys spending time with her family in Grand Lake and vacationing in Hawaii.
Tracy has been a Teacher Assistant at Cherry Hills Preschool since 2015. Prior to that, she was a stay at home mom for 13 years and then decided that she wanted to work at CHC. Having both her boys at the school, she experienced the amazing staff and parents and knew she wanted to be a part of that environment. Tracy wanted to give back by pouring God’s love into kid’s lives, just as the teachers had done for her children.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Rochele and her husband have two daughters and a son. All three of their children attended or are attending Cherry Hills Christian PreSchool so she has experienced the preschool as a parent. In her free time, she enjoys attending Cherry Hills Community Church, hiking, jogging, reading and exploring new places in Colorado with her family.
Rochele received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Geneva College. She has taught the three year-olds in our preschool program and this year, she is teaching PreK. She also has experience teaching the After School Care Elementary program and KidZone at Cherry Hills.

Bonnie Gamble is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. She has been married to Ryan Gamble since 1999. They met at the University of Florida where she played tennis for the Gators. They have four children, three boys and one girl, ages 17 down to 6. Bonnie's family moved to Colorado eventually after taking an online test to determine their perfect city. They love the mountains, hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, sports, and everything about Colorado! Their family has been attending Cherry Hills Community Church for a little over one year.
Bonnie was a teacher’s assistant at Mission Hills preschool while her youngest was in preschool. She was a Bible Study Fellowship Children’s leader for five years and taught a Crown Ministries course to 5th graders. She homeschooled her kids from 2nd to 6th grade and has also served as a teacher in Sunday school since college.

Kristi Hardesty is a Colorado native, but has also lived in California and New Jersey. She is married to her husband Ryan and they have two teenagers: Kaylee and Mikey. She enjoys reading, hiking and shopping and she also sings in the Cherry Hills Community Church Worship Choir.
Kristi has taught every grade from PreK to 12th. Before her kids were born, she taught Junior High Physical Education, health and science. When she returned to work, she spent four years as TA in our PreSchool before moving into the teacher position in 2014.

Cindy has three children. When her children were little, she offered childcare out of her home. She then started as a teacher’s assistant in a Christian Pre-K class and did that for three years. Cindy went back to school so she could be the lead teacher in a classroom. She got a job at Cherry Hills Christian in 2002 and started teaching in a Pre-K class then moved to K-Enrichment.

Shelley hales from Whitefish, Montana. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Montana. She has also completed coursework at Arapahoe Community College in Early Childhood Education. Shelley started teaching Preschool and Sunday School about 17 years ago in Texas at a Christian school. She worked there for two years until they moved to Missouri where she also taught at a Christian school for two years and substitute taught in the Elementary Schools. Her family then moved to Colorado and she has taught here at CHC for about 13 years.
Shelley is married & has been blessed with an amazing son and daughter, both now in their 20's. She enjoys skiing, hiking, waterskiing and spending time with the family. Shelley loves having the privilege of working with God’s precious children and expanding His kingdom.

Anna Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea, but has called Colorado home for nearly 40 years. She has been married to her husband Charles since 1989. They have three boys: Alex, Trever and Taylor, all in their 20's. They love to travel and spend time with friends as well as shopping.
Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree from CU Boulder. In addition, she has completed several early childhood classes from Arapahoe Community College. Anna has been teaching three year-olds at Cherry Hills Christian PreSchool since 2001. Anna would like to provide an environment in her classes where the children grow not only academically but spiritually as well.

Caroline is a new resident of Colorado and joined the team at Cherry Hills Christian Preschool in 2017 when Caroline and her husband, along with their two children, moved to Denver from Texas. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas in Austin.
Caroline loves to run and explore all the trails around their home and looks forward to her family's first ski season as Colorado residents. She holds a very special place in her heart for the preschool years and feels blessed to be a part of your child's year. She can't wait to meet, play and learn with each and every one of our students!

Tammie received her Associate’s degree in Business & Criminal Justice from Drury University in Springfield, MO. She has also completed coursework at Arapahoe Community College in Early Childhood Education. She has been a teacher at Cherry Hills and in KidZone (caregiving) since 2010. She has two boys and loves outdoor activities, creating crafts, and watching her sons play sports. Her goal for the children is to help establish an encouraging, Christ-centered, and caring environment where they can grow spiritually and have FUN while learning.

Allison and her husband, Stuart, have lived in Castle Pines, CO for four years with their three children, Lauren, Dalton and Connor. Her favorite things to do are spend time with her family, watch them playing sports and traveling to new places.
Allison earned a BA from Gettysburg College with a major in Classical Studies and a minor in Elementary Education. She has been teaching for the past 15 years on and off while staying at home to raise their three children. She has been the lead teacher for PreK and three year-olds and has been an Assistant Teacher in 2’s, 4’s and 5’s. She worked several months as an Assistant Director in her Virginia preschool before she moved to Colorado. She has been serving at CHC since 2016."Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. Shana grew up in Casper, WY and has lived in the south Denver area for almost 20 years. Shana and her husband have two daughters. Courtney attends the University of Wyoming (Go Pokes!) & Kylie attends the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk Jayhawk!). Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family, but she also enjoys exercising, Bible study, scrapbooking, reading and coffee!
Shana graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BA in Elementary Education. She has been a TA in a Douglas County school in Parker working in kindergarten, 1st and 6th grades.

Samantha Reiman is one of our "Twenty-Something" Teacher Assistants. She has two incredible older sisters and a loving mom and dad who have been a huge influence on her growing faith. Because she was a military child, she lived in many states. Before coming to Cherry Hills Christian, Samantha was a nanny for multiple families, some with whom she spent seven years. Children have always been held close to her heart and she is so excited to get to know yours.
Samantha is also pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education. She believes teachers have a huge impact on children and she can't wait to inspire and speak life over the students in her classroom.

Lisa was born and raised in Michigan but moved to Colorado from Texas! She is passionate about teaching the whole child and creating a learning environment where every child is loved, cared for and nourished academically and emotionally. In her spare time, Lisa will most likely be found sitting on a lacrosse field with her husband watching their son play the game he loves. She has been teaching in some form since 2004. Lisa has taught preschool, pre-k, Homebound and has served as a Resource Special Education teacher for kindergarten through fifth grade.

As a Colorado native from Kersey, CO, Jill loves camping, hiking and kayaking. Jill and her husband Dan and have been married since 1990 and have been members of Cherry Hills since 2008. They met at Colorado State University where Jill graduated with a degree in Marketing. After their children were born, she decided to follow her heart and pursue a career that allowed her to do what she loves – work with preschoolers.
Jill has been at Cherry Hills Christian PreSchool since 2005 and has taken several early childhood classes. In the time she's worked here, she's been blessed to work with 2’s, 3’s and Pre Kindergarteners.

Jennifer grew up in Colorado and after various stints in Dublin, Ireland, Boston MA and Ann Arbor, MI returned home to raise her family. She has been married to her husband, Ryan, since 1999 and have two children. Both of her children, Danny and Kerry, attend Cherry Hills. We also have a 2 year old Goldendoodle named Moose. Jennifer loves to sing and has been involved in music since early childhood. She enjoys skiing with her family and friends and always gets excited for the first snowfall. Travel and experiencing different cultures also falls under her list of interests. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in K-12 music education. Most of her teaching experience was at a private music school in Dublin, Ireland where she collaborated with other music teachers to provide a unique music education experience for the students. She has also taught in public elementary school in the Boston area. After taking a long break from teaching to be at home with her children, Jennifer returned to teaching 3 years ago, teaching Music Together classes for children under 5 and their parent/caregiver. She is delighted to be a part of the staff at Cherry Hills Christian and be able to mix her love for music and children with her love for Jesus.

Originally from San Diego, CA, Kim has lived in Colorado since 1999. Having been in the field of early childhood education for the last 16 years and an administrator for seven years, she has extensive experience in high-quality program development and quality ratings.
She served as the Assistant Director for 3 years before becoming Director.
As a teacher and/or an administrator she has been observed, assessed, and evaluated by three different entities; ACSI (Association for Christian Schools International), Qualistar, and NAEYC (The National Association for the Education of Young Children). Her last position involved rating programs from infants to school-age children for the state of Colorado. These experiences have taught her how valuable it is having multiple lenses to evaluate a program with. She believes the value of a continuous improvement process is needed to provide children with the best that can be offered! From having safe and stimulating environments, high impact language and vocabulary, and nurturing responsive relationships, she affirms that there is always room to both celebrate and improve practice.
Kim received a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from the University of Denver where she was a Buell Early Childhood Leadership Program Fellow and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of CA, Irvine.
Her daughters attended the Elementary and Middle school, and one of them is excited to return as a 6th grader. She has been an active member of the church for over six years and has taught Sunday school, VBS, and a SKSK Dance clinic. She considers Cherry Hills her home and is excited to return working with such an exceptional Christ-centered staff!

Kimberly was born in Virginia and raised in Georgia, but her heart and home are in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Her favorite activities include outdoor living, exploring new places, reading, praying, painting, baking, creating a healthy home for her family, hiking/walking, yoga, snuggling by the fire, and eating Dove chocolate! She is committed to serve, pray, and lead as He connects her with children, parents, teens, and families in their walk of faith. Kimberly reside in Highlands Ranch with her husband and son and they worship together at Cherry Hills. She has always loved teaching and working with families. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Kimberly began her teaching career in the medical field, organizing and operating the education department for a team of orthopedic surgeons. With a nursing and dietetics background, she was able to use her knowledge and love for being with others in a way that only heightened her passion for teaching. She began her elementary teaching career while pursuing a Masters in Early Childhood Education at the University of West Georgia. She has been serving as a teacher at the elementary and preschool level for 15 years, and is thrilled to be at CHC. Deeply humbled and honored to be in the classroom with your child, she is committed to partner with you in the establishment of a firm foundation of biblical truth and a lifelong love of learning.

As a child, she grew up in a military family, and later spent twenty years as a military spouse while raising her two children, Ross and Kendall. Given this type of lifestyle, not only is she an expert at moving, but is also flexible and able to adapt to new surroundings.
She received her BA in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood/Family Studies from Washington State University. She has 22 years of teaching experience in both the public and private sector in Washington, Maryland, Florida, Texas, Minnesota, California, and Colorado. Currently, she has her Colorado Professional Teacher License in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education and is honored to have been part of the Preschool Staff at Cherry Hills Christian School since 2000.
She truly believes children are the closest thing to God, and it is her honor and privilege to assist and share her love for teaching, learning, and growing with each special child.
