Growing the next generation of Kingdom leaders
Dear CHC Family and Friends,
As we begin our 33rd year, Cherry Hills Christian remains committed to our mission of serving Christ…Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength. CHC students have a heart to serve Jesus and others, a soul that desires a close relationship with the Lord, a mind that seeks purity and wisdom, and strength of character and community. We are thankful for a place where parents and school unite to provide a dynamic, academic environment that grounds students in God’s truth. It is truly a blessing to have this school, especially in the ever-changing world in which we live.
Every fall we launch our CHC Annual Fund Campaign and our goal is to achieve 100% participation. Through your generous gifts to the CHC Annual Fund, great things can happen in the lives of our students, families, and teachers. Giving at any level is greatly appreciated and will make a difference.
What is the CHC Annual Fund? The CHC Annual Fund is of utmost priority to Cherry Hills Christian School. The best way to explain the CHC Annual Fund is that it meets the immediate needs of the school to ensure the advancement of CHC’s mission and vision. Undesignated gifts to the CHC Annual Fund support our Margin of Excellence and provide critical resources for the school. Annual gifts from alumni, parents, grandparents and friends enhance the CHC student experience.
What is our Margin of Excellence? Knowing that tuition does not cover all school expenses, our Margin of Excellence is described as those projects and programs, above the core requirements, that significantly enhance the student’s experience. These cover the entire spectrum of student life at CHC. Our Margin of Excellence is maintained when an individual expresses belief in the mission of CHC and invests in the CHC Annual Fund. We will meet the goal to support our Margin of Excellence if every family gives a tax-deductible gift.
Colorado residents have a unique giving opportunity through the Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit (5C), which allows 50% of your contribution to be claimed as a tax credit on your state return. Contributions are also treated as deductions on your federal and state returns, making the net cost of your contribution approximately thirty cents on the dollar. For example, with the Colorado Child Contribution Credit, a gift of $350 would equal an approximate net cost to your family of $105. The maximum contribution to qualify for the 5C is $100,000. We hope you will join us during this pivotal time in our school’s history as we honor our strong foundation and look forward to our school’s bright and flourishing future. Please prayerfully consider being part of this important mission and feel free to share with friends and family of CHC. We are thankful for you and pray blessings for your family this holiday season.
For Christ…Heart, Soul, Mind, Strength,
