Faith In Action
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
At CHC, we want to help the next generation develop a lifestyle of service and giving so that they will continually ask, “What needs to be done?” and then do it - at home, in their community, in the world.
Creating a desire within our students to take care of God’s world and the people in it is a priority to us because it communicates a direct love response to our Creator God. We want students to leave CHC with heads, hearts and hands for service:
- Students in PreSchool - Grade 8 to donate gently used coats, clothing, shoes, canned food for those in need and items for Easter boxes for children in Juarez, Mexico
- Elementary School students all participate in a "Do Something" service day in the spring, taking part in projects in the classroom and off site
- Middle School students actively serve at over 20 locations in the greater metro Denver area on three Ministry in Motion days as well as a one week Missions Week to three locations (two out of state) in the spring
Sister School Program
During the 2017-2018 school year, Cherry Hills Christian will be starting a Sister School Program with Musana Community Development in Uganda. This program will provide an opportunity for students and teachers, in both countries, to learn and pray for each other throughout the school year. Click here to learn a few interesting facts about each school. We look forward to this opportunity to partner with such an amazing organization!
If you are interested in making a donation toward the construction of the new school at Musana, please send your tax deductible contribution payable to: “Musana Community Development Organization” to the CHCMS office.
