Meet Our Superintendent
Robert Bignell brought his long history in Christian education to CHC in the fall of 2005. He attended Christian schools in California from kindergarten through high school. After receiving degrees in Finance and School Administration, he taught middle-school at a Christian school in California before moving on to be an administrator. Robert believes Christian education is the hope for America's future.
Married to his wife Deb for more than 40 years, they have one terrific daughter, son-in-law and two fabulous grandchildren.
An avid sports fan, Robert was greatly influenced by John Wooden, former UCLA basketball coach of 10 national championship teams. Wooden taught such truths as:
Talent is God-given: Be Humble.
Fame is man-given: Be Grateful.
Conceit is self-given: Be Careful.
Being a role model is the most powerful form of education.Robert can often be seen greeting students and parents entering the building each morning. He prays fervently for our school and strives to keep God's word before him each day. Paul teaches us in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 to "Rejoice always, pray continually and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
Mr. Bignell believes this can also be the motto for CHC and sums it up this way:
