Supporting the Vision of Cherry Hills Christian

2019 - 2020 Grateful Giving Initiative

Dear Cherry Hills Christian Families and Friends,

Equipping our students to be a generation of a different kind, of a different caliber, wholly devoted to God - heart, soul, mind and strength will continue to be our legacy as we enter our 35th year of transformative Christian education. I am filled with gratitude as I look at the work God is doing in our classrooms and in the hearts of our students. I am grateful for our community of parents and staff who have been called to impact the lives of our students at Cherry Hills Christian in partnership and in service.

I am excited to kick off this year's Grateful Giving initiative, formerly known as the Annual Fund. This is our school's top fundraising priority. Each year we ask parents, alumni, grandparents, employees and friends to participate in this annual giving initiative by making a charitable monetary gift to CHC. The success of Cherry Hills Christian's Grateful Giving is measured not only by the amount of a given contribution, but the number of individuals who participate. When you give to CHC, regardless of the amount, your contribution demonstrates your commitment to our mission and vision. In this way, gifts of all levels matter. Each donation ignites a culture of giving to further allow us to continue our commitment to honoring Christ by teaching, encouraging, training and grounding students in His truth.

This year's Grateful Giving initiative will support the advancement of Cherry Hills Christian School as we prayerfully develop and successfully execute our strategic priorities. Over the past year, our faculty and staff have worked diligently to align curriculum with increased rigor and Biblical Worldview integration. In addition, we have provided intentional student learning experiences that allow for personal and spiritual development including the first annual Upper School Fall Retreat. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss any passions you have for our school that will continue to develop our dynamic academic environment.

Colorado residents have a unique opportunity through the Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit (5C). Please contact your accountant for specific details surrounding your gift and the advantages of 5C giving.

We hope you will join us during this important time in our school's history as we honor our strong foundation and look forward to our school's bright and flourishing future. Donations for this year's Grateful Giving can be made online through the link below or dropped off in the school tuition box, Attention: Christian Minner. We encourage you to share this giving opportunity with your family and friends. We are thankful for you and pray blessings for your family this holiday season!

With Joy,

Kati Melton, Head of School

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
